Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

We have recently organised for Helping Hands Network, a specialist OSHC provider, to operate and manage the School’s OSHC Service.  We are currently planning for the new service to commence for Before and After School Care on 27 January 2015.

Helping Hands Network operates as a community partnership with Schools, P&C's, Parents and Children to provide all of their Outside School Hours Care needs.  They actively cooperate with government agencies, schools and parents, to provide a high quality service, ensuring the use of the service and the payment of fees is convenient and affordable while providing exceptional value and a financial contribution to the school community.

The Helping Hands Network company philosophy is to build stronger, happier and healthier communities through the provision of quality childcare in partnership with children, parents and schools.  They tailor their programs to meet the local school community needs.

Please find additional information attached which includes, a brochure that provides an overview on how the service will operate, the service times and fees and also enrolment forms for you to complete and return.  There is no charge to enroll in the service and I encourage all families to do so.  Even if you only need to use the service in absolute emergencies, enrolling provides your family with an extra safeguard.  It is a licensing requirement that children can only attend the service if an enrolment form has been completed. A copy of this information can also be found on our website.

Please complete the enrolment forms and return them to the Helping Hands Central office at PO Box 513 Moffat Beach Qld 4551 as soon as possible.  From 10 December, you can also complete the enrolment on line at www.helpinghandsnetwork.com.au/schools-families.  Alternatively, please call the Help Desk on 07 5390 0500 for assistance.

We look forward to welcoming Helping Hands Network as part of our school community.
